Hy-Vee is hiring a Registered Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team, delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced retail setting. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and support wellness programs while ensuring HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence.

The role includes immunizations, inventory management, and collaboration with store leadership to promote community health. A licensed pharmacist with strong customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• College degree and licensure in pharmacy required; must maintain continuing education to keep license active
• 6 months to 1 year of similar or related work experience required
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred
• Ability to administer immunizations required

Responsabilités

• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with OBRA '90 regulations and all state and federal statutes and regulations
• Assist with immunizations as certified
• Maintain confidentiality of customers' private medical information and prescription drug pricing per HIPAA
• Assist with inventory control including ordering, stocking merchandise, checking invoices, and entering inventory information
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Manager and other departments to promote wellness and the pharmacy
