Hy-Vee is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Department. The role requires filling and verifying prescriptions, counseling patients, and supporting pharmacy operations.

You will contribute to wellness programs and community outreach while upholding privacy and safety standards. The successful candidate will have a Pharmacist license, be able to administer immunizations where certified, and maintain continuing education to keep licensure active.

Qualificações

• Pharmacist must hold an active pharmacy license and maintain required continuing education.
• Experience in retail pharmacy workflows is preferred but not required for entry.
• Familiarity with OBRA ’90 and state/federal regulations is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Fill and verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Counsel patients on medications, proper use, and potential interactions.
• Assist with controlled substance inventory and annual audits.
• Manage inventory: ordering, stocking, and invoicing entries.
• Support the pharmacy team and participate in ongoing training.
• Immunize patients where certified and follow HIPAA rules.
