Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team in a fast-paced retail setting. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, support the pharmacy team, and contribute to wellness programs and community outreach to promote health and well-being.

The role requires a college degree and pharmacist licensure, with immunization administration as a certified option, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. Pre-employment drug screen is required.

Qualifications

• College degree and pharmacy licensure required.
• Maintain continuing education to keep license active.
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred.
• Ability to administer immunizations required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers and assisting with their needs.
• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with OBRA '90 and state/federal laws.
• Assist with controlled substance inventory and annual stock checks.
• Assist with inventory control including ordering and stocking merchandise.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and confidentiality of patient information.
