Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Department in a fast-paced retail setting. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and support the pharmacy team while promoting wellness in the community.

The role requires a valid pharmacy license, ability to administer immunizations, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. You will report to the Pharmacy Manager and collaborate with store leadership to ensure compliant, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• College degree and licensure in pharmacy required; must maintain continuing education to keep license active.
• 6 months to 1 year of similar or related work experience required.
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred.
• Ability to administer immunizations required.

Responsibilities

• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with regulations.
• Assist with immunizations and patient outreach to promote wellness.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information per HIPAA and company policies.
• Provide high-level customer service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting.
