Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients referred by physicians, in accordance with applicable laws and Life Care standards.

Ideal candidates hold NBCOT certification, an active OT license, and CPR certification, with 0–1 year experience; new grads are welcome to apply. The role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team in a post-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification required upon hire.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Current state license in good standing.
• CPR certification required on hire and kept current.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans for patients (ADLs).
• Establish and modify realistic, measurable goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and professionalism.
• Collaborate on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain patient rights, safety, and confidentiality.
• Follow Life Care policies and Code of Conduct.
