Grand Lake Health System is seeking a part-time registered nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process from assessment through evaluation. You will guide and teach patients, lead nursing staff, and place the patient at the center of care.

The role requires flexibility for weekend and holiday rotations and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to achieve quality outcomes. Prior nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in good standing.
• Ability to work every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsabilités

• Delivers patient care using the Nursing Process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs patient teaching and guides Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
• Leads patient teaching and centers care on the patient.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
• Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
• Places the patient at the center of care practices.
• Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
• May be required to work other patient care units or shifts according to the distribution of staff, patients, and/or patient acuity.

Requirements

• Ability to work every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.

Education/Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN

Experience

Previous experience is preferred but not required.
