Grand Lake Health System is seeking a part-time RN to provide patient‑centered nursing care on the day shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM). The role includes lead responsibilities in patient teaching and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Flexibility to cover every third weekend and holiday rotation is required. Graduates of accredited nursing programs with an RN license are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
• Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
• Places the patient at the center of care practices.
• Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
• May be required to work other patient care units or shifts according to the distribution of staff, patients, and/or patient acuity.

Requirements

• Ability to work every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.

Education/Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN

Experience

• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
