Job summary

Grand Lake Health System is seeking a registered nurse to deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process in a hospital setting. The role requires completing assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

This full-time position offers 11a-11p shifts with every third weekend and holiday rotation. Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN license is required; prior experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Flexibility to work required shifts.

Responsibilities

Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
• Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
• Places the patient at the center of care practices.
• Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
• May be required to work other patient care units or shifts according to the distribution of staff, patients, and/or patient acuity.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support patient care, departmental operations, regulatory compliance, and organizational goals.

Requirements

• Ability to work every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.

Education/Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN

Experience

• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
