Job summary

Grand Lake Health System is seeking a dedicated RN to provide patient care during the night shift. The role emphasizes nursing-process-driven care, patient education, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team on a hospital unit in the United States.

Flexibility in scheduling is required, including the ability to work every third weekend and holiday rotation. Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure is required; LPNs will also be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

FT - Night Shift 6:45pm- 7:15am
Every Third Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required

Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
• Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
• Places the patient at the center of care practices.
• Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
• May be required to work other patient care units or shifts according to the distribution of staff, patients, and/or patient acuity.

Requirements

• Ability to work every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.

Education/Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN
• Will consider LPN

Experience

• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
