Job summary

Grand Lake Health System is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process. You will lead patient teaching, coordinate with Nursing Ancillary staff, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve quality outcomes.

The role requires flexibility for every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation, with opportunities to work across units as needed. Previous nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• RN licensed nurse graduates from an accredited program.
• Ability to work every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.
• Prior experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and guide patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
• Assume a lead role in patient teaching and place the patient at the center of care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and outcomes.
• May work other units or shifts according to staff distribution and patient needs.
