Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services in Kentucky is seeking an experienced registered nurse supervisor to oversee clinical care, implement physicians' orders, and coordinate nursing staff to deliver comprehensive resident care.

You will supervise LPNs, LVNs and CNAs, lead care planning, document outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain confidentiality while working as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with valid state license.
• Experience directing, motivating and training staff.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident care plans and implement nursing interventions.
• Interview and counsel applicants as permitted by law.
• Lead team conferences and assign qualified team members.
• Administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and document as required by policy.
• Coordinate nursing care with other departments and ensure supplies/equipment safety.
• Record observations and reactions, and respond to emergencies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
