Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services is seeking an experienced registered nurse supervisor to oversee nursing care for residents. You will work with physicians, implement orders, supervise LPNs, LVNs and CNAs, and ensure high-quality patient care in a compliant setting.

Responsibilities include assessing care plans, leading team conferences, administering medications, starting IVs, coordinating therapy schedules, documenting outcomes, and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Direct, motivate and train staff; communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Utilize nursing process to assess and update care plans and evaluate outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident care plans and evaluate nursing outcomes.
• Interview applicants and participate in hiring and counseling.
• Lead team conferences to develop individualized care plans and assign qualified staff.
• Implement physicians' orders; administer medications, start IVs, and document treatments.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are used safely and properly.
• Coordinate nursing care for residents scheduled for therapy or procedures.
• Record observations and reactions; assist in emergencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
