Job summary

Ascension is hiring an RN for the Panama City, FL area in the PCU/Stepdown unit. This day-shift, full-time role focuses on implementing and monitoring patient care plans and coordinating multidisciplinary care to ensure smooth, safe discharges.

The ideal candidate will hold a Florida RN license with BLS, possess a nursing diploma, and preferably ACLS, with 1-2 years of acute care experience. Join a mission-driven team at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date.
• ACLS preferred; 1–2 years acute care experience.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
