Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking an RN for the Via Christi Village McLean facility in Wichita, KS. The role is in the Skilled Nursing department with a temporary, full-time schedule spanning 8 to 36 weeks, focusing on patient care planning and multidisciplinary coordination.

The successful candidate will monitor patient status, execute physician orders, and assist with discharge planning. Requirements include BLS within 30 days and RN licensure; a diploma in nursing is required.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
• Registered Nurse credential required before hire date.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Preferred Credential(s):

• Drivers License.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
