Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking an LPN for our skilled nursing unit in Wichita, KS. You will provide bedside care under RN or physician direction and support resident assessments, including medication administration and monitoring for adverse reactions.

The role requires active LPN licensure, BLS certification within 30 days of hire, and a high school diploma or equivalent (with 1 year of relevant experience). This is an on-site, rotating/PRN position at Via Christi Village Ridge.

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent or 1 year of applicable experience is required.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
