Job summary

Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living in Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to promote residents' health and wellbeing by collaborating with providers and the interdisciplinary team. The RN will deliver physical and psychosocial support to residents and families.

The compensation ranges from $47 to $57 per hour, including shift differentials. Evening/Night +$4.50, Weekends +$5.00, with rate determined by experience and license history.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with seniors or cognitive impairment preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and web applications.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and nursing standards.
• Promote residents' independence by teaching care goals and self-care skills.
• Monitor residents’ clinical status and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to perform routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications as ordered.
• Develop and coordinate a holistic care plan with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care activities in the resident’s EMR and ensure timely updates.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
