Job summary

Community Memorial Healthcare in Ventura, CA, is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide general nursing care in a hospital setting. You will effectively plan and communicate patient and family education, document care, and participate in unit-based educational activities.

Responsibilities include cross-training in PCU as needed, explaining procedures to patients, and ensuring timely, accurate documentation in line with hospital policy.

Qualifications

• Must hold California RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Six (6) months of recent full-time acute care experience in an acute care hospital or equivalent.

Salary Range: $50.75 - $78.45 per hour DOE
The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range. Required
Qualifications

• Current CA RN License
• Current BLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• Six (6) months of recent full-time acute care experience in an acute care hospital or equivalent
• Successful completion of Stroke/Sepsis Education competency within 6 months of hire

Preferred

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• One (1) or more years previous Medical Surgical or Telemetry experience
• Certification for Progressive Care Nurse (PCCN)
• Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
