Job summary

Community Memorial Health System in Ventura, CA seeks an experienced registered nurse to join our telemetry, medical oncology and post-surgical teams. You will provide care across diverse patient populations and may float to Ojai Valley Community Hospital based on competency.

Eligible for a certification bonus upon obtaining PCCN or RNBC. Competitive benefits and shift differentials available; this role offers exposure to multiple units and patient care settings within our system.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN License.
• Current BLS Certified.
• Current ACLS Certified.
• One year of recent full-time acute care experience in an acute care hospital.
• Must be flexible to float to Ojai Valley Community Hospital.
• BSN preferred.
• One or more years of recent Medical Surgical or Telemetry experience (preferred).
• PCCN certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Work with clinical teams in telemetry, med oncology and post-surgical areas.
• Float opportunities to Critical Care and Emergency Department based on competency.
• Obtain a PCCN and/or RNBC to be eligible for a certification bonus.

Compensation

Salary Range: $50.75 - $78.45 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

This position offers a variety of exposures to different patient populations. You will be working with great clinical teams in telemetry, med oncology and post-surgical areas at Community Memorial Health System and Ojai Valley. Strengthen your clinical skills in different expertise. Obtain a certification as a PCCN and/or RNBC to be eligible for a certification bonus.

Float opportunities to specialty areas such as but not limited to Critical Care and Emergency Department to strengthen clinical skills. Clinical function will be based on competency and skills level.

Qualifications
