Job summary

Community Memorial Health System is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide care across acute and critical care areas, pediatrics, and ER. You will assist physicians with procedures and promptly execute orders related to Respiratory Care Services.

Minimum qualifications include CA Respiratory Care Practitioner License, NBRC CRT, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least two years of experience in respiratory care.

Qualifications

• Current CA Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by NBRC.
• Two (2) years of experience in respiratory care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to the total spectrum of patients served by Respiratory Care Services, including acute/critical care, pediatrics, and Emergency Room; assist physicians with procedures and execute orders promptly.

Education

CA Respiratory Care Practitioner License

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) NBRC

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Compensation

Salary Range: $38.78 - $57.38 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

To provide care to the total spectrum of patients served by Respiratory Care Services to include patients in acute and critical care areas, pediatrics, Emergency Room, and assist physicians with special procedures (intubation, bronchoscopy, etc.). Assumes responsibility for the prompt and/or routine execution of physicians' orders relating to Respiratory Care Services.

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)


• Two (2) years of experience in respiratory care
