Job Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) – Rehabilitation Unit. Full‑time, 0.9FTE (72hrs/pp), 6×12‑hour shifts, nights (7p‑7a), rotating weekends and holidays.
Sign‑On Bonus: $7,500 available to qualified applicants.
Responsibilities
- Perform plan‑of‑care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and related medical care.
- Document care provided in a timely, accurate manner.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
- Assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
- Display initiative and flexibility to float throughout the building to support departments and staff.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers, discharges, referrals, psychosocial/spiritual support).
- Assess learning needs; provide age‑ and culture‑appropriate patient/family education.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
- Participate in performance improvement and required education; work other shifts/units as needed and may take on‑call assignments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current Michigan RN license.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Basic Life Support (Health Care Provider) credential.
