Job summary

Memorial Physician Practices is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neuro/Ortho/Peds Unit in Marquette, MI. This Full-Time role offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus and requires 6 x 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities include patient care interventions, documentation, and collaboration across disciplines. The ideal candidate will hold a current Michigan RN license and an associate's degree, with a preference for a bachelor's degree. Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) certification is necessary.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 1 year.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 1 year.

• Perform plan of care intervention including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care given and monitor patient condition.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and advocate for their well-being.

Job Type: Full-Time | 0.9 FTE or 72 hours/pp
Schedule: 6 x 12‑hour shifts, Nights (7p-7a), Rotating Weekends and Holidays
Sign‑On Bonus: $7,500 available to qualified applicants

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
