Job summary

Lourdes Health, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Rehabilitation RN for a day-shift, full-time role at the Pasco, WA facility. The RN will coordinate rehab patient care, support daily living activities, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes within a union hospital setting.

Eligible candidates will hold a Washington RN license (or Compact with WA endorsement), ADN required with BSN preferred, and at least 1 year of acute care nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Active Washington RN license or Compact license with WA endorsement; relocation requires PSOR update before employment.
• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
• 1 year of Acute Care nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care for Rehab Unit and communicate with staff and nursing leadership.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Plan, implement and evaluate care based on age-specific and cultural needs within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure quality of care by comparing outcomes to standards and making adjustments as needed.
• Contribute to care improvement using evidence-based practices and hospital policies.

How you'll contribute

You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

Coordinates the delivery of patient care for the Rehab Unit, facilitates problem solving with staff members and communicates necessary issues to nursing administration and the Program Manager.

Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for a given population based upon age specific and cultural needs. This is done in a collaborative multidisciplinary approach embracing quality and safety.

Assures quality of care by measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital philosophies and standards of care set by Washington State Board of Nursing, and other governing agency regulations.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Washington RN license or Compact RN License with Washington endorsement (if relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins), and possess an Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred

Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred

Experience: 1 year of Acute Care nursing required
