Job summary

Lourdes Health in Pasco, WA seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This full-time, mid-shift union position offers competitive hourly wages and a substantial commitment-incentive bonus. Join a Level IV Trauma Center with a focus on team-based, patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates have WA RN licensure, ADN with BSN preferred, and ED experience. Certifications in ACLS/BCLS/PALS and NIHSS readiness are required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Current Washington RN license or Compact RN license with WA endorsement.
• ADN from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• ACLS, BCLS, PALS certifications; NIHSS within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year Emergency Department nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
• Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

$10,000 - $20,000 Commitment-Incentive Bonus

Schedule: Mid Shift (3p-3a), 3x12, every other weekend and holiday rotation per union contract

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current Washington RN license or Compact RN License with Washington endorsement (if relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins), and possess an Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS; NIHSS within 90 days of hire required
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year Emergency Department nursing required
