Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - St. Louis in St. Charles, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem day or night shifts on a 7-7 schedule.

The role offers a PRN rate of $53/hour with competitive night/weekend differentials and a $7,500 sign-on bonus with no commitment. Responsibilities include admissions/ transfers, patient assessments, accurate documentation, interpreting labs/telemetry, and counseling patients and families.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License.
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
