Job summary

A critical illness recovery hospital in St. Charles, MO is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shifts. The RN will be responsible for patient admissions, assessments, and documentation, as well as providing compassionate care. Preferred candidates will have clinical experience in critical illness or post-ICU settings. The position offers a competitive compensation range and a substantial sign-on bonus of $15,000, along with extensive benefits including tuition reimbursement and a generous 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Document patient data accurately using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Transcribe and process medical orders accurately.
• Participate in Rapid Response and code events with competence.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.

Compensation: $40.12‑$54.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
