Job summary

A critical illness recovery hospital in St. Charles, MO is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate care for critically ill patients. This position offers full-time shifts and competitive compensation ranging from $40.12 to $54.00 per hour, along with significant benefits such as a $15,000 sign-on bonus, extensive orientation programs, and scholarships for further education. Ideal candidates will possess a valid RN license and competencies in patient assessment and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license issued by the state.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Document patient information accurately using appropriate systems.
• Interpret and analyze assessment/diagnostic data including labs.
• Ensure accuracy in transcribing and processing medical orders.
• Respond competently to rapid response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families on care plans.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Schedule: Full-Time Day OR Night 7-7

Compensation: $40.12-$54.00 per hour

Competitive shift differentials: nights $5 and weekends $3.50

Sign-on bonus: $15,000
