Job summary

Hendrix Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our long-term care and rehabilitation team. You will provide direct nursing care to residents, collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to maintain the highest standards of resident safety and well-being.

The PRN schedule offers flexible hours, with shift differential pay available to acknowledge evening and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric and rehabilitation care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, resident-centered nursing care
• Assess, monitor, and document residents’ health conditions and progress
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Identify and promptly communicate changes in resident condition
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide education and support to residents and their families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for residents
• Supervise and support nursing assistants to help ensure quality care deliver
