Job summary

Serenity Spring Senior Living at Scandia Village is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing facility. Open shifts include 2PM–10:30PM and 10PM–6:30AM, with a full-time commitment and a lucrative sign-on bonus of $8,500. Earn up to $50 per hour in a competitive compensation package.

You will supervise nursing staff, monitor resident care, and coordinate with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality, compliant care in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• WI Registered Nurse license required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care.
• Experience supervising nursing staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with Director of Nurses and Assistant to implement changes.
• Supervise nurses and aides for Long Term Care facility.
• Monitor resident care and report changes to DON or ADON.
• Assess newly admitted or readmitted residents and document in the 24-hour report.
• Ensure proper documentation on MARs, nurses notes, and reports.
• Liaise between nursing staff and attending physicians; assess need for calls.
• Check supplies and equipment are in place and functioning.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Work with the facility's Director of Nurses and Assistant and implement recommended changes as required
• Responsible to supervise nurses and aides for Long Term Care facility
• See residents and monitor resident care and report changes to the Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
• Assess newly admitted or readmitted residents and document in the 24 - hour report. Follow up on residents as needed
• Monitor nursing staff to ensure proper documentation on MARs, nurses notes, accident/ incident reports, physician's orders and treatment records
• Liaison between nursing staff and attending physicians. Assess the necessity of calls to the physicians. Assess the necessity of calls to the physicians during off business hours
• Checks to see that all supplies are in proper place and all equipment is functioning
