Job summary

Highland Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) for all shifts with part- and full-time openings. A sign-on bonus up to $8,500 is offered to eligible candidates to join a skilled nursing facility providing sub-acute care and rehabilitation.

You will supervise nurses and aides, monitor resident care, and coordinate with the DON/ADON, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting of changes in resident conditions.

Qualifications

• RN Nursing Supervisor experience: Long term care required: 1 year.
• PA Registered Nurse License required.
• Nursing experience: 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Work with the facility's Director of Nurses and Assistant and implement recommended changes as required
• Supervise nurses and aides for Long Term Care facility
• See residents and monitor resident care and report changes to the Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
• Assess newly admitted or readmitted residents and document in the 24-hour report. Follow up on residents as needed
• Monitor nursing staff to ensure proper documentation on MARs, nurses notes, incident reports, physician orders and treatment records
• Liaison between nursing staff and attending physicians. Assess the necessity of calls to the physicians during off business hours
• Checks to see that all supplies are in proper place and all equipment is functioning
