Job summary

Highland Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Happy Valley, PA, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing team. Shift openings for all shifts, part-time and full-time options, plus a sign-on bonus up to $8,500 are available.

You will work with the DON/ADON, supervise nursing staff, assess residents, document care, and coordinate with physicians to ensure high-quality sub-acute and rehabilitative care.

Qualifications

• RN Nursing Supervisor experience: Long term care: 1 year
• PA Registered Nurse License required for RN Nursing Supervisor
• RN Supervisor: 1 year
• Experience: Nursing: 1 year
• RN - Registered Nurse license/certification required

Responsibilities

• Work with the facility's Director of Nurses and Assistant and implement recommended changes as required
• Supervise nurses and aides for Long Term Care facility
• See residents and monitor resident care and report changes to the Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
• Assess newly admitted or readmitted residents and document in the 24-hour report; follow up as needed
• Monitor nursing staff to ensure proper documentation on MARs, nurses notes, accident/incident reports, physician's orders and treatment records
• Liaise between nursing staff and attending physicians; assess necessity of calls to physicians, including after hours
• Check that supplies and equipment are in proper place and functioning

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Responsible to supervise nurses and aides for Long Term Care facility
• See residents and monitor resident care and report changes to the Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
