Job summary

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital seeks an experienced PACU RN for a PRN schedule covering early morning shifts with on-call rotations. The unit handles post-anesthesia care for diverse surgical cases and requires 1 shift per week with 2 on-call shifts every six weeks.

The hospital is located in western Fairfax County and offers a broad surgical footprint. Qualified applicants will have at least one year in PACU or CC nursing, a Virginia RN license, and active ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of PACU or CC nursing (ICU or ED) experience is required.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to PACU patients.
• Monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety during recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams for smooth patient transitions.

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for an experienced PACU RN for a PRN (as needed schedule) covering 0545 to1815; 1 shift per week and 2 on-call shifts per six-week schedule required.

Located in western Fairfax County,IFOH'sPre-ophas20 bay unit that runs from 0545-1815 daily and the PACU has 26 bays that run from 0730-2230 daily M-Foffering a comprehensive range of surgical specialties, including spine; joint replacement; retina; breast; gynecology; general; and bariatric weight loss. We performover 10,000 surgical cases annually using some ofthe most advanced technology such asStryker Mako Robotic-Assisted Joint Procedures, Globus Excelsius Robotic Spine Navigation Platform, OrthAlign Precision Navigation and Medtronic StealthStation Navigation.The units are covered with on-call coverage 2000-0730 M-F, weekend and holidays.

RN PACU Qualifications:
