The Inova Women's PACU is seeking an experienced PACU Nurse for a full-time position averaging 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts, 1–2 weekend shifts every 6 weeks, and on-call requirements.

The PACU cares for patients before and after gynecologic procedures in a 32-bay unit; about 30 patients daily with 75% discharged the same day. Inova Fairfax Medical Campus offers strong benefits and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience – 1 year of PACU or Critical Care (ICU/ED) nursing experience.
• Certification - Basic Life Support through AHA.
• Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
• Education:BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Our Women's PACU is seeking an experienced PACU Nurse for a full-time position averaging 36 hours/week.

Schedule: 12 hours shifts with 1-2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule with on call requirement. Staff covers 600-2330 with night shift and on call requirement.

Our unit is a 32-bay Preoperative and PACU department caring for patients before and after their General Gynecology, Gynecological Oncology, Urological Gynecology, and Robotic procedures. We care for 30 patients a day on average, 75% of which go home same day from the PACU. Our acuity ranges from benign procedures to extensive oncology cases.
