Job summary

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a Full Time experienced PACU RN to support PreOp and Recovery, including phase 1 and phase 2. The role requires 1 year of PACU/CC nursing experience, an active Virginia RN license, and BLS clearance at start.

Shifts are 4x10 hours, Mon-Fri, with on-call coverage and weekend/holiday rotations, located in Western Fairfax County. BSN preferred if ADN holder must complete BSN within 5 years.

Qualifications

• One year of PACU or CC nursing (ICU or ED) experience required.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an ADN, BSN must be completed within 5 years of start date.
• RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• BLS from American Heart Association required at start.

Responsibilities

• Work in PACU and Perianesthesia settings, covering PreOp and Recovery.
• Care for patients during phase 1 and phase 2 recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.

Inova’s Perianesthesia Nurses work both PreOp and Recovery to include phase 1 and phase 2 recovery.
