Job summary

Lourdes Health, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an RN for Medical/Surgical PRN at Pasco, WA. The role offers varied 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends/holidays under a union contract, with wage scale set hourly.

Requirements include WA RN license, associate degree (Bachelor’s preferred), and BCLS; ACLS, PALS and Handle with Care are desirable. 1 year Acute Care experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Active Washington state RN license or compact licensure
• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred
• 1 year of Acute Care RN experience

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for medical/surgical patients.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support quality/safety initiatives.
• Deliver patient-centered care in a team-focused environment.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Washington state RN license or compact state license (if relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employee begins and possess an associate degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of Acute Care RN experience required.
