Job summary

Lourdes Health, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an Orthopedic Post-Surgical RN in Pasco, WA. This full-time 0.9 FTE role involves days on a 3x12 schedule with weekends and holidays rotating. Expect wound care, meds, and postop monitoring on a 10-bed Orthopedic/Med-Surg unit.

We offer a strong benefits package, a $10,000–$20,000 commitment incentive, and shift differentials. WA licensure and ADN are required; BSN preferred; ACLS/PALS optional.

Qualifications

• Current Washington RN license or Compact RN License with WA endorsement.
• Education: ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of Acute Care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition, pain, and postop recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor wounds, dressings, drains, and neurovascular status.
• Collaborate with team for care coordination and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on recovery, medications, and mobility.
• Document care and maintain a safe patient-centered environment.

• Support rehabilitation goals and promote safe patient mobility.
• Document care accurately and maintain a safe, patient-centered environment.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Washington RN license or Compact RN License with Washington endorsement (if relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins), and possess an Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
• Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred
• Experience: 1 year of Acute Care nursing required
