Job summary

Lourdes Health in Pasco, WA, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Orthopedics Post-Surgical on a 0.9 FTE schedule (Days; 3x12 shifts with weekends/holidays rotation). Wages range from $42.14 to $78.11 per hour with a $10,000-$20,000 commitment incentive bonus. Join a 10-bed Orthopedic/Medical-Surgical unit focused on teamwork and patient care.

Applicants should have a WA RN license (or Compact with WA endorsement), ADN (BSN preferred), BCLS; ACLS/PALS welcome. 1 year acute care exp.

Qualifications

• Current Washington RN license or Compact RN with WA endorsement
• 1 year of Acute Care nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition, pain, and surgical recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor wounds, dressings, drains, and neurovascular status.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on recovery, medications, and mobility precautions.
• Support rehabilitation goals and promote safe patient mobility.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Washington RN license or Compact RN License with Washington endorsement (if relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins), and possess an Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
• Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred
• Experience: 1 year of Acute Care nursing required
