Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the General Surgery 3W unit in St. Louis, MO, to provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The role is full-time with a 36-hour week schedule and day shift coverage.

The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree, an active RN license in the state (or compact licensure), and a BLS certification (or within 30 days of hire), plus at least 2 years of patient care experience.

Qualificações

• Must meet all RN licensure requirements in the hiring state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Position Details:

Registered Nurse (RN) – General Surgery 3W

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule:Full time | 36 hours/week

Shift: Days 7:00pm - 7:00am

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Licensure

• Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed.
• Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certification

• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Supervisor experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Prolonged standing and walking during shifts.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
