Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for new graduates in St. Charles, MO. The full-time role offers day or night shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) with a starting pay of $40.85/hour and substantial sign-on bonuses.

A structured 10–13 week orientation with a dedicated preceptor supports new grads as they begin their nursing careers. Applicants may start before licensure but must be licensed by the start date.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Valid State RN license required.
• BLS certification at hire.
• Flexibility to complete the program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physician and preceptor to implement and follow the plan of care.
• Conduct ongoing systematic assessment of physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of patients/families.
• Develop nursing care plans with problem identification, diagnoses, orders, interventions, goals, and discharge planning.
• Participate as an interdisciplinary team member in rehabilitation goals planning and evaluation.
• Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and timely.

Sign-on bonus: $15,000 Days, $20,000 Nights NO COMMITMENT/Repayment

Shift Diffs: $7 nights, $3.50 weekends

Applicants may apply before being licensed however must have license upon start date.

• In collaboration with the physician and their preceptor, you will assure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.
• Initiating an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational and functional needs of the patients/families.
• Interpreting assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan which contains problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long term goals and discharge planning.
• Participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
• Assuring that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate and timely.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited program for registered nursing.
• Valid State RN License required.
