Job summary

St. Francis Healthcare Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Full-Time NOC shift.

You will provide patient-centered nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maintain clinical excellence. The ideal candidate holds a California RN license, CPR/BLS, strong assessment and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced skilled-nursing setting.

Qualifications

  • Current and active California RN license.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
  • Previous experience in skilled nursing, post‑acute care, or long‑term care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and nursing procedures as prescribed.
  • Monitor residents' conditions and promptly communicate changes to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate quality resident care.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other nursing staff.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and regulations.
  • Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while maintaining each resident's dignity and respect.
  • Respond confidently and effectively to emergencies and changing resident needs.
  • Provide appropriate nursing oversight and support throughout the NOC shift.
