SanStone Health & Rehabilitation in North Carolina is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our caring team. We offer 12-hour shifts and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time PM shift candidates.

Applicants must hold an unrestricted RN license in North Carolina or a compact license that allows practice in NC. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, you will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care and health education for residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education for residents.
• Supervise CNAs and other staff delivering care.
• Coordinate nursing care on the unit and ensure appropriate care.
• Administer and coordinate safe medication-related interventions.
• Transcribe and coordinate physician orders and implement new orders.
• Assess residents' health status and update care plans.
• Develop and implement patient care plans and nursing interventions.
• Contribute to resident assessments and care plan development.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner. Some responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) may include:

• Supervise the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other staff.
• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff provide appropriate care to them.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents. Notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and implement appropriate nursing interventions that may be required to stabilize a resident’s condition and/or prevent complications.
• Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the development of a care plan.
