Margate Health and Rehabilitation in Jefferson, NC is seeking Registered Nurses to join our team. We offer flexible shifts in a supportive environment and a $5000 sign-on bonus for full-time PM shift candidates.

Applicants must have an unrestricted RN license to practice in NC or a compact license. Under the Director of Nursing, the RN will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care and health education for residents, supervising CNAs and coordinating care.

Competenze

• Unrestricted RN license to practice in North Carolina or a compact license.
• Geriatrics or long-term care experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication, assessment, and patient-care skills.

Applicant must have an unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in North Carolina or a compact license that allows you to practice in North Carolina.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents. These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner. Some responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) may include:

• Supervise the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other staff.
• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff provide appropriate care to them.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents. Notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and implement appropriate nursing interventions that may be required to stabilize a resident’s condition and/or prevent complications.
• Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the development of a care plan.
