Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City, IA is seeking a dedicated RN to join our skilled nursing team as Charge Nurse. You will supervise clinical staff on your unit, provide guidance and education, and help maintain high standards of resident care.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Iowa RN license or compact state license.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and education to clinical staff.
• Maintain infection prevention practices.
• Ensure adequate staffing for residents’ needs.

As a charge nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Southfield Wellness Community by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) RN license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
