Southfield Wellness Community in Iowa is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our friendly, caring and supportive team in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will supervise clinical staff on your unit and help deliver a high standard of care.

We offer shifts from 6a-2p, 2p-10p and 10p-6a for both full-time and part-time roles with shift differentials, tuition reimbursement, a 401K with employer match, internal growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Iowa or a compact state.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of your assigned unit and supervise clinical staff.
• Provide guidance and education to clinical staff and maintain infection prevention practices.
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet residents' needs and deliver high-quality care.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Southfield Wellness Community by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
