Job summary

Southfield Wellness Community is seeking a Weekend Package Nurse to join our friendly, caring and supportive team. You will help manage operations of your assigned unit, supervise clinical staff, provide guidance and ensure residents receive high-quality care.

Required is an unencumbered Iowa RN or LPN license and CPR certification; SNF experience is preferred. We offer tuition reimbursement, 401K with employer match, shift differentials, and an extensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) RN or LPN license.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the activities of clinical staff on the assigned unit.
• Provide guidance and education to staff on care delivery.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and adequate staffing for residents.
• Help ensure residents receive a high standard of care.

As a Weekend Package nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Southfield Wellness Community by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) or License Practical Nurse (L.P.N.) license and CPR certification. Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
