Southfield Wellness Community in Iowa is seeking an RN to join our friendly, caring and supportive team as a charge nurse. You will supervise the clinical staff on your unit, provide guidance and education, and ensure infection prevention practices are followed while maintaining adequate staffing to meet residents' needs.

As a charge nurse you will deliver an unparalleled standard of care and contribute to a positive facility culture.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Iowa RN license (or compact state).
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred.
• Ability to supervise clinical staff and ensure infection prevention practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of all clinical staff on the assigned unit.
• Provide guidance and education to clinical staff.
• Maintain infection prevention practices.
• Ensure adequate staffing for residents’ needs.

As a charge nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Southfield Wellness Community by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) RN license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
