Job summary

Northgate Care Center is seeking staff nurses to join a friendly, caring team in a Skilled Nursing setting. Shifts include 4am-4pm full-time/part-time and 4pm-4am full-time/part-time, plus PRN on-call opportunities.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license (Iowa or compact state).
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of the assigned unit and supervise clinical staff.
• Provide guidance and education to staff to maintain care quality.
• Support infection prevention practices and staffing adequacy.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive facility culture.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Northgate Care Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
