Job summary

HireCare LLC in Walpole, MA is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide direct nursing care, supervise LPNs and CNAs, administer medications, and develop care plans on your assigned unit.

You will conduct rounds, monitor residents, participate in admissions and transfers, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing (RN) program.
• Current, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license.
• Current CPR certification (ACLS preferred, not required).
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred (not required).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with professionalism and tact.
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with facility policies, physician orders, and safe nursing practices
• Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing support staff on assigned units
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop, implement, and update care plans
• Accurately transcribe and carry out physician orders
• Perform wound care, treatments, and skilled nursing interventions as ordered
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition to physicians and leadership
• Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Provide hands‑on clinical care including wound care, IV therapy, tube feedings, suctioning, and colostomy care
• Conduct rounds to ensure resident safety and quality of care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Participate in care conferences and care plan updates
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and effective communication
• Assist with state surveys and inspections as needed

About the Role:
