Job summary

HireCare LLC in Winchester, MA is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing team. The RN will provide high-quality, resident-centered care, supervise staff, and coordinate comprehensive care plans on their unit.

The ideal candidate holds a MA RN license, current CPR, and has strong clinical judgment and communication skills. Experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing (RN) program.
• Current, unencumbered State of Massachusetts RN license.
• Current CPR certification (ACLS preferred, not required).
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred (not required).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with professionalism and tact.
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with facility policies, physician orders, and safe nursing practices.
• Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing support staff on assigned units.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop, implement, and update care plans.
• Accurately transcribe and carry out physician orders.
• Perform wound care, treatments, and skilled nursing interventions as ordered.
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition to physicians and leadership.
• Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Provide hands-on clinical care including wound care, IV therapy, tube feedings, suctioning, and colostomy care.
• Conduct rounds to ensure resident safety and quality of care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Participate in care conferences and care plan updates.
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and effective communication.
• Assist with state surveys and inspections as needed.

About the Role:

In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, oversee clinical operations on your assigned unit, and support nursing staff in a collaborative, resident-centered environment.
