Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care to client employees and dependents at our San Antonio, TX Health Center. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering a stable daytime routine.

You will assess and document patient care, collaborate with physicians, perform tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision), administer medications, maintain records, and educate patients on health promotion.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited nursing school or associate degree; BSN preferred
• Current RN license in state of practice
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required depending on contract
• COHN/COHN-S, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management certification preferred
• At least three years of RN experience in ER or occupational health/ambulatory care

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and conduct nursing evaluations.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in San Antonio, TX. The scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

What You'll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
