Job summary

Premise Health invites a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our Health Center in Grand Prairie, TX. You will provide care to client employees, collaborate with physicians, and perform essential nursing duties in a client-focused setting.

The role requires state RN licensure, BLS certification, and 3+ years in emergency or occupational health settings. BSN is preferred; some sites may require ACLS. Comprehensive benefits are offered for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice is required.
• Hands-on BLS certification is required; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; four-year college or university degree.
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing or related field is preferred and may be required for some sites.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed.
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision) as defined in site contract.
• Administers medications and emergency care within the legal scope of practice.
• Maintains medical equipment, keeps a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accuracy and currency.
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Grand Prairie, TX.
The scheduled hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00a - 5:00p.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
